This webinar is designed to equip managers, HR professionals, and team leaders with the tools and knowledge to effectively support employees who have been impacted by the recent wildfires in California. The training covers both immediate and long-term strategies for providing support and understanding legal considerations.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand how to offer compassionate and empathetic support to employees who experience fire-related losses.
  • Gain insight into how to assist employees with resources and EAP programs
  • Understand the importance of offering flexible working hours, remote work options, and leave policies to accommodate affected employees' needs.
  • Discover strategies to build an organizational culture of resilience and long-term recovery that helps employees return to their best performance.

Prior to founding The Works Consulting in 2001, Anne served as the Regional Human Resources Director for a Fortune 500 distribution company where she led a merger transition team and was responsible for strategic planning, implementing new policies and procedures, workforce restructuring, compensation structures, and integrating the work cultures for over 600 employees. LACDAC and First 5 (Region 4) grantees who register and do not attend will be invoiced directly for the full cost of the course. Per our contract with LACDAC, we are required to notify LACDAC of any grantees who register and do not attend; Those who miss a session cannot register to attend any future TNP sessions until payment is received.
