Breakfast Series: You Have New Donors. What's Next?

Tuesday, October 3, 2023; 9am - 11am (In-Person)

Acquiring new donors is just the beginning of a successful fundraising journey. To transform one-time supporters into dedicated advocates, organizations must master the art of donor stewardship. This workshop is dedicated to exploring proven strategies and actionable insights that guide nonprofits in nurturing new donors, building lasting relationships, and advancing supporters from initial contributions to sustained engagement.

Featuring a special focus on organizations who participated in Long Beach Gives by touching on how comfortable do you feel navigating the campaign space after participating in this campaign, as well as how to advance a new donor to a standard donor.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Understand the pivotal role donor stewardship plays in securing long-term donor commitment.
  • Explore the benefits of investing in relationship-building beyond the initial donation.
  • Delve into practical approaches for engaging donors immediately after their initial gift.
  • Explore the impact of timely and personalized thank-you messages and acknowledgments.

Who Should Attend:

Nonprofit professionals responsible for donor relations, engagement, and stewardship.

Fundraising teams seeking to optimize strategies for nurturing new donors and enhancing donor loyalty.
