Communicating With Your Team

August 13, 2026; 9am - 12pm (In-Person)
**Last day to register is August 8th to give you ample time to take the DiSC assessment**

This interactive workshop will help participants identify and gain an understanding of the unique qualities of their own communication style, including characteristics, strengths and potential challenges of each style. Join us and learn to recognize the styles of others and shift your style to enable more effective relationships. Understand how to best communicate within your organization and accommodate differing preferences and needs to create an environment where all can thrive!

Emphasis will be placed on practical application of the DiSC assessment results in everyday interactions, and how to communicate more effectively with others through identifying the best way to give and receive information with all personality types. We will also focus on communication challenges, and ways in which the DiSC can improve relationships.

The course is ideal for work teams or colleagues who work together and depend on each other for their success. It can be especially helpful when members of the same team take it together, as it provides a common language and tools for improved communication that can be applied immediately. The DiSC also offers important insights for leaders in effectively working with employees and stakeholders.

Prior to the workshop, you will need to complete the DiSC assessment (included in the cost of registration). The cost of the assessment is included in the registration fee. Refunds for this workshop may be reduced by the cost of the assessment, regardless of completion of the assessment.

Course Outline:
  • As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Identify "the good, the bad, and the ugly" side of your own communication style.
  • Learn to read cues from others to determine their communication style, and how best to interact effectively with them.
  • Understand your unique DiSC assessment results and become familiar with the resources in the report.
  • Develop a "Communications Action Plan" to create improved communication with others and take the learning into your workplace setting.
Resources:
Each participant will complete and receive the results of a full individualized Everything DiSC© Workplace assessment profile, for use in the workshop and to be kept for future reference.
